How do I open a business account?

Opening a business account is now a simple process through Banq Global and our financial partners. All accounts come with local account details and an IBAN in your company name. You don’t need to be a resident or have a business address in the country. Here’s how it works:

  2. Our team will be in touch and provide you with a simple form to fill out (10 minutes).
  3. Submit the requested documentation (e.g. ID, proof of address, bank statement).

Can a non-resident director open a business account?

Yes, a non-resident director can now easily open a business account in 20 countries through Banq Global. No physical office or company registration in the chosen country is required making it even easier to expand your business internationally. The same straightforward process applies to all 20 countries we serve.

Will the account be in my company name and come with a local IBAN and local address?

Yes, all business accounts will have an IBAN and an address based in the specific country you wish to open the account in. All business accounts are issued in your company name.

Do you offer a multicurrency business account?

Yes, all of our business accounts come with multicurrency capabilities, meaning you can receive, exchange, and pay out in over 130 currencies.

Who is eligible to open a business account?

We work with ambitious companies looking to take their growth to the next level. If your company has an annual turnover of at least $1 Million, we’re the business account specialist and international payments partner you’re looking for. We welcome directors and shareholders from over 190 countries.

Companies we can’t do business with include entities and individuals listed on any sanctions list or watchlist provided by regulators or local police forces, and those trading in sanctioned jurisdictions or funded by sanctioned entities. In addition to the common practice of prohibiting payments linked to illegal activities, there are some other business activities not supported by Banq Global.
